Urban Abandonment was one of my favourite university projects, focusing on a range of desolate buildings across different countries, cities, and towns. Alongside these images of decay, I aimed to highlight the surprising presence of wildlife thriving within these abandoned spaces. Despite their dilapidated state, these buildings take on a peaceful, almost serene quality as nature reclaims them. The contrast between urban decay and the quiet resilience of wildlife reveals an unexpected tranquility within the concept of abandonment.
